Monday - Thursday: 10 AM - 9 PM
Friday - Saturday: 10 AM - 5 PM
Sunday: 1 PM - 5PM
Sunday: CLOSED (Memorial Day-Labor Day)

Take-Out Science
Explore the wonders of science right from your own living room with a variety of hands-on, science-themed activities available through the library. From fascinating experiments and STEM kits to interactive learning tools, you can check out these exciting resources using just your library card.
We are excited to announce the DiscoveryWorks Ambassador volunteer program. This program offers a unique opportunity to enhance the visitor experience, connect and engage with DiscoveryWorks guests, and share the Avon Lake Public Library and DiscoveryWorks story.
Group Visits to DiscoveryWorks
Groups may reserve private access to DiscoveryWorks from 9:00–10:00 AM, Monday through Thursday (not available on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays). There is no fee for private reservations. To schedule, please call 440-933-7848 at least 2 weeks in advance of your preferred date.
Groups are also welcome to visit during public hours:

If your group includes 10 or more people and plans to visit during public hours, please notify DiscoveryWorks at 440-933-7848 at least two weeks prior to your visit.
Please note: One adult chaperone is required for every 5 children for all group visits.
