Complete a participation log and turn it in to staff at the Information Desk by August 3, 2019, for a chance to win one of several gift cards!
For each entry, read a book or listen to an audiobook, then fill in a ticket. Additional entry tickets are available at the Information Desk.
The program is open to all patrons age 18 and older. To qualify for the Adult Summer Reading Program, patrons must complete entries between 6/1/19 and 8/3/19. Patrons may complete and submit multiple entries during the program for multiple chances to win. Prize winners will be contacted after 8/4/19.

A Universe of Stories: Teen Summer Reading 2019
It’s that time again! Explore a Universe of Stories right here at the Library! For every book, audiobook, or graphic novel you’ve read you get a scratchoff ticket that may or may not include a fabulous prize! You can also earn a ticket by reviewing a book or attending a program. Prizes include king-size candy bars, fine forgiveness coupons, free books, and gift cards. ALL entries, whether they’re winners or not, are eligible for the GRAND PRIZE, a $50 Visa gift card! May the odds be ever in your favor!
Summer Reading Club 3-2-1 Blast Off…READ!
Get ready to blast off on a reading mission this summer. Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing by reading a universe of stories! Earn badges and raffle entries as you complete your reading missions.
Summer Reading Challenge
Are you up for an extra challenge this summer? Want an easy way to focus your summer reading? The Children’s Department, along with public school staff, created bingo boards with specific book themes, authors, subjects, and activities that are out of this world. For every five squares you finish, get an extra raffle ticket for the Avon Lake Public Library’s prize drawings. Complete 20 squares to take home a moon pie, meteorite, or planet stress ball. One per reader, while supplies last. Readers of all levels are welcome.
