Book and Activity Kits

These bundles can be picked up through our Curbside Service or at the Holds Window.

Each kit includes one of our favorite chapter book read-alouds as well as a reading & activity guide to help make the book more fun and meaningful.  Request a title here or by calling the Children’s Desk at 440-933-8917.

Take Home Science Bags

Experiment, explore and create! Come inside (to the Holds window), or use curbside service to pick up materials for hands-on science and art activities you can do at home. Activities may require you to provide general supplies like glue, tape and scissors.

All Ages

Receive supplies and instructions for some of our favorite all-inclusive, all ages sensory activities. Monthly, sign up starting 1st of the month, pick up the week of the 15th.

Sign up by clicking on the link below to reserve your kit, and join us on YouTube for an awesome craft. We provide most of the materials you need, with remaining needs listed.

Have you ever wanted to make your own sourdough starter, mulled wine, or homemade cheese? Register online, and pick up one of our food project kits. Each bag contains instructions, ingredients, and/or tools.

Our take-home kit includes coloring designs based on works by known artists, a colored pencil set, an art-themed activity, and suggested reading and viewing.

Reserve your monthly kit, and design a pop-up slider card for all occasions…birthday, anniversary, and thank you. Cardstock and instructions included.

Light Up Winter Reading Challenge 

Bring a little light to your winter! Participate in the ALPL Winter Reading Challenge simply by reading or listening to something that makes you happy. Print out a log from alpl.org or pick one up at the Library, and track your reading at home. When you complete 30 days of reading, show your log at the Holds Window or at our Curbside Service to receive your own reading light and continue the fun after dark! One reading light per participant, while supplies last.
