Coaching - Make an appointment for one-on-one help with computers, your resume, or your small business (courtesy of SCORE, Senior Corps of Retired Executives).

Homebound Delivery - Available to Avon Lake residents who cannot come to the Library due to disability. We select, deliver and pick up materials for you. Contact Karen Scott by email or at 440.933.8128.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) - If we don’t have it here, we can bring many items in from other libraries.

Public Access Computers - 22 computers running Windows XP with high-speed Internet connection and suite of Office 2007, as well as selected software such as Firefox, Open Office and GIMP (an open version of Photoshop). All have USB ports as well as CD-RW and 3.5” disk drives. 

Self-sign up with your library card and PIN (ask our Reference desk staff for help if you do not know it).  If you do not have a card, ask for a guest pass.

Wireless Internet Access - Available throughout the Library. No login required.

USB/flash drives, headphones, CD-RW discs - Available at our Reference desk at cost. 

Computer Printouts - 10 cents per page or 15 cents for double-sided in black and white.  25 cents per page in color.  8.5x11 paper and bypass feeder only.  Pick up your own printouts with your card or guest pass and pay with coin/bill acceptor

Scanner - Scan images or documents as JPG or PDF (multi-page) directly to a USB drive.  B&W or color.  Self-serve or ask for help.

Copiers – Two coin-operated copiers, one near Circulation desk and one near Reference desk.  Copy on letter (8.5x11), legal (8.5x14) or ledger (11x17) size paper, reduce or enlarge images, single or double sided originals and copies, document feeder, bypass feeder (ask for staff assistance),  B&W only.  10 cents per page, except 11x17 @ 20 cents each.

Fax machine - Send and receive faxes for a $1 fee plus 10 cents per additional page.  Public fax number is 440.933.5659. Near Circulation desk.  Self-serve and pay at desk or ask staff for help.

Vision Assistance - Magnifiers (hand held, ask at desk) and Optelec desktop digital viewer.

Typewriter - IBM Wheelwriter.  Near Reference desk.

Notary Public – A free service. Call ahead (440.933.8128) to ensure someone can assist you
