A volunteer group of community members who support the Library through fund raising, service, and programming. Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Lakeshore Room at ALPL. Open to new members.
What Is Our Purpose?
Friends of the Avon Lake Public Library is a non-profit volunteer organization which provides funds to enhance library programs and acquisitions, supports legislation to strengthen the library and encourages public use and enjoyment of library services and facilities.
Who Are We?
The Friends of the Avon Lake Public Library is a group of over 400 individuals and families who believe in the library and its services.
What Do We Do?
The Friends is a nonprofit organization dedicated to help support the library through various activities including volunteer service, cultural, educational and recreational events.
The Friends provide additional financial assistance for the continuing improvement of the library facilities and its programs.
Your support allows the Library to provide programs for all ages. Friends supported programs include enlightening author/luncheon programs, unique and interesting excursions, and programs for children and youth.
